Salary Range: $20.00 - $28.90
Actual compensation within the pay range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
Location: Pittsfield, MA or Lincoln, RI
Purpose/Objective:
Responsible for a full range of activities and initiatives to assist with ensuring the reconciliation, compliance, and audit operational requirements of the business unit. Responsible for assisting with general department administrative duties to keep the department compliant and efficient.
Key Accountabilities:
* Performs daily reconciliations, including review of various reports, research and processing adjustment transactions as necessary. 40%
* Performs monthly reconciliations for department DDA accounts.10%
* Enters all GL reconciliations in accounting software (Blackline), monthly. 10%
* Performs all reconciliation duties per Bank policy and procedures by the required deadlines.
* Performs quarterly Control Self Assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external procedures/regulatory requirements related to Electronic Banking. 20%
* Processes daily returned mail. 10%
* Creates, reviews and updates procedures pertaining to reconciliations. Assists with updating additional department procedures as needed. 5%
* Assists with the annual disaster recovery and business continuity testing for the department. 5%
* Assists with department reporting, trending and metrics and platform usage analytics, as needed.
* Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties.
Education:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Experience:
* 3-5 years of banking experience
* Previous reconciliation/compliance and/or audit experience
Skills & Knowledge:
* Analytical/research skills
* Excellent written and concise oral communication skills
* Strong problem solving and organizational skills
* Ability to work within deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy
* Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting a team
* Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong knowledge of Regulation E, NACHA rules, OFAC, BSA, AML, and CIP
