Job Description

The FP&A Manager is a strategic partner to the business, responsible for driving financial performance and supporting commercial decision-making through advanced financial analysis and leadership. This position will be the right-hand FP&A support to the VP of North America Food Finance. This role provides oversight of P&L structure, ensuring transparency and accuracy, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and understand key business drivers.The manager supports executive reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes, delivering actionable insights that influence profitability and growth.



This role is located in our Charlotte, NC headquarters on a hybrid basis coming in Monday through Thursday with flexibility to work remote on Fridays.



Key Responsibilities



  • P&L Ownership and Analysis:Oversee and interpret the full P&L structure for the North America food packaging business, ensuring accuracy and clarity of financial results. Analyze revenue streams, cost drivers, margins, and profitability trends to identify opportunities and risks. Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on financial performance and market dynamics.
  • Financial Planning and Forecasting:Lead development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans for food packaging business, and directly support the North America Food Finance Vice President in consolidating overall business. Drives alignment between commercial and operational objectives and financial targets, ensuring robust scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
  • Business Partnering:Act as a key liaison between finance and business teams, fostering collaboration to understand business performance drivers. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to evaluate pricing strategies, customer profitability, and market trends. Influence decision-making through clear communication of financial insights and recommendations.
  • Performance Management:Conduct variance analysis and identify root causes of deviations from targets. Use dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPIs and support data-driven decisions.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis and Strategic Initiatives:Lead deep-dive analyses on sales performance, margin optimization, and customer profitability. Support strategic projects, including pricing reviews, cost optimization initiatives, investment evaluations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously improvefinancial planning and reporting processes, implementing best practices in modeling and analysis. Establish and execute NAM food financial operating model with emphasis on optimizing processes to improve performance insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's Degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 5-7+ years of demonstrated experience in a financial role.
  • FP&A experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of P&L structure and commercial profitability drivers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools (SAP, OneStream, PowerBI). Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Skilled in Microsoft Office software (primarily, but not limited to, Excel).
  • Excellent communication skills

Pay Transparency:

Base Compensation Range: $93,100 - $160,655



The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by considering relevant factors including education, experience, and internal alignment. This position may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses and other incentive programs.
