TheMinimum Equipment List(MEL)Controller reportsto theManager- MEL Standardsandis responsibleforassistingtheManager -MELStandardstoensurethat the JetBlueA220/A320/A321Minimum Equipment List (MEL), Configuration Deviation List (CDL) and Non-Essential Equipment and Furnishings List (NEF) manuals are in compliance with the latest FAA and manufacturer documents.
The MEL Controller is considered to be supervising, in an executive capacity, the airworthiness of aircraft per 14CFR 65.83 for recent experience requirements. The MEL Controller ensures JetBlue Airways MEL is conforming to "14CFR 121.628 Inoperable instruments and equipment", and the "Minimum Equipment List preamble" while in the position capacity
EssentialResponsibilities:
Ensure MEL/CDL/NEFchangesmeetregulatoryrequirementsthat includetheMaintenance&Operational functions,Aircraft Flight Manual Limitations, Emergency ProceduresorAirworthinessDirectives. Ensuring compliancewith FAA MMEL,Operations Specifications,ICAO andinternalmanual standards.
Develop/apply suitableconditionsand limitationsinthe formofplacard, maintenance procedures,crew operatingprocedures and otherrestrictions as necessary arespecifiedintheMEL/CDL/NEFmanualsto ensure that anacceptablelevel ofsafety ismaintained.
MinimumExperienceand Qualifications:
High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with a Valid Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant license, or Dispatch license OR Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Engineering OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience

The base pay range for this position is between $88,000.00 and $132,000.00 per year.
