Your Job

Molex is seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker to support our high-speed progressive stamping operations in St. Petersburg, FL. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and repairing tooling to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Our Team

You will be part of a skilled tool room team that supports a fast-paced stamping operation focused on precision, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Our team works closely with production and engineering to maintain tooling performance and drive operational success.

What You Will Do

• Inspect and sharpen tooling; perform preventative maintenance
• Complete tool changeovers for similar production parts
• Repair tooling and reverse engineer components to create prints as needed
• Operate standard tool room equipment, with a focus on grinding and precision form grinding
• Perform press setups and changeovers as needed, including pulling, setting, and troubleshooting dies on the production floor
• Work overtime as required

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience with progressive stamping dies
• Experience operating presses at speeds up to 1200 SPM
• Troubleshooting experience in a production environment
• Computer experience (e.g., time logging, accessing part prints, etc.)

What Will Put You Ahead

• Stamping thin gage, non-ferrous materials and Bruderer punch presses
• Working with carbide, guided strippers and 0.0001" tolerances
• Experience with vision and in-line measurement systems
