Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for State Site in Braintree MA

Monday - Thursday 8 AM - 6 PM

Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

As a Security Officer in Braintree, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, work closely with others, and act with integrity while serving the public and protecting critical operations.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, traffic-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of roadways, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor assigned areas and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Support access control activities, assist the public with directions and general information, and document incidents and/or daily activities in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
