In this role, you will remain visible, assist with badge and entry procedures, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, warehouse, and administrative areas.
• Document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity, communicate with site contacts regarding access requests, and report unusual activity through appropriate security-related channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including directing people according to site protocols during alarms, evacuations, and/or operational disruptions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, observing for maintenance concerns, unsecured access points, and other conditions that may require security-related attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
