As a Security Officer Area Patrol in Terrell, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting them through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points for associates, visitors, and/or delivery drivers, verifying credentials and communicating site policies in a professional manner.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing loading docks, trailer yards, and high-traffic areas, and reporting potential policy violations or hazards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
