As a Senior IT Analyst - Specialty Systems, you'll serve as a trusted technical expert supporting the applications that clinicians and operational teams rely on every day. Your expertise will help optimize workflows, improve system performance, and implement innovative technology solutions that enhance patient care across UVA Health. Working within one of the nation's leading academic health systems, you'll collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, and vendor partners to analyze business needs, configure enterprise applications, lead system implementations, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Position SummaryThe Senior IT Analyst serves as the subject matter expert for assigned healthcare applications, providing advanced application support, system configuration, workflow analysis, and technical consultation. This role partners closely with clinical and operational stakeholders to evaluate business needs, implement technology solutions, and maintain reliable, secure, and efficient application environments. The Senior IT Analyst leads system implementations, upgrades, optimization efforts, and complex troubleshooting while ensuring solutions align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
