We invite applications for a full-time lecturer in First-Year Composition to support TWU's developmental education curriculum. Applicants should have an established record of and avid interest in teaching integrated reading and writing. We are especially interested in candidates with prior experience working with, advising, and/or mentoring at-risk students. This is a teaching-centered position with a 5/5 course load and an expectation of departmental service. While the position includes minimal research requirements, candidates are expected to stay abreast of trends in the field and current best practices with integrated reading and writing. Courses will primarily consist of integrated reading and writing and on-level First-Year Composition. The position is renewable annually assuming good performance.

The positions begin August 2026. Successful candidates should hold an MA or PhD in English, Rhetoric, or a closely allied field. The candidates should be prepared to teach engaging courses in a range of modalities: face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses. Rank of lecturer appointment (I, II, III, or Sr.) depends on experience and qualifications.
