Quality Manager

Your role

The Quality Manager oversees all quality-related functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and driving continuous improvement across the Systems and Solutions Team. This role manages quality personnel, leads audits, supports ISO initiatives, and responds proactively to manufacturing and customer issues.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and manage the quality team and all quality processes.
  • Develop and maintain quality systems, procedures, and documentation.
  • Review customer specifications and manage inspection/test plans.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure ISO compliance.
  • Track and report quality KPIs and cost of quality metrics.
  • Address customer complaints, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products.
  • Manage NCRs, DMRs, and supplier quality issues.
  • Support supplier audits and drive improvements with Supply Chain.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and participate in global quality initiatives.
  • Conduct quality training and onboarding for new employees.


To succeed, you will need

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • 7+ years in quality, manufacturing, or training roles; 3+ years in leadership.
  • Manufacturing Engineering experience is a plus.

In addition to technical quality expertise, the successful candidate will demonstrate:



  • Strong leadership and accountability, with the ability to drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs/CARs) to closure while fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, including production teams, engineering, suppliers, customers, sales teams, and senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify root causes, evaluate complex problems, develop practical solutions, and lead implementation efforts to achieve measurable results.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with changing priorities and ambiguity, while maintaining focus on business objectives and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence through process optimization, waste reduction, and performance enhancement initiatives.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Technical degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience in vacuum technology, industrial equipment manufacturing, rotating equipment, engineered-to-order products, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of ISO quality management systems and quality auditing practices strongly preferred.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple business entities, functions, and global teams.
