Production Associate, Wallingford, CT

Pay Rate: $24.75

Shift: 3rd Shift, 11:00pm - 7:00am, Monday- Friday, Shift differential 10%. Train on 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) for 3 months

As aProduction Associateyou will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that quality products are available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment.

• Set up the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders and operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.

• Ensure that equipment is maintained in good and safe working conditions.

• Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs.

• Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality. Help junior operators in their assigned responsibilities.

• Repair and clean the equipment when needed. Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements.

• Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer the production equipment between warehouse and working area. Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.

• Mechanical inclination, ability to use hand tools

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
