Senior International Mobility Consultant

Are you passionate about international mobility, global compensation, and helping employees navigate opportunities around the world? Join Air Products as a Senior International Mobility Consultant and play a critical role in managing international assignments that support our global business strategy.

This position is based at our Global Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where you will work closely with senior business leaders, HR partners, Finance, Tax, Payroll, and external service providers across multiple regions.

Reporting to the Manager, Global International Mobility, this role supports international assignments across the Americas and Europe regions, managing all assignment types and every stage of the assignee lifecycle. You'll also serve as a key contributor to global compensation and tax compliance programs that ensure our worldwide mobile workforce remains supported and compliant.

What You'll Do:

International Assignment Management

  • Manage international assignments throughout the entire assignee lifecycle, from initiation through repatriation.

  • Prepare assignment cost estimates, assignment letters, and supporting documentation.

  • Coordinate assignment changes, extensions, and repatriation activities.

  • Partner with home and host HR teams, business leaders, and external providers to ensure seamless assignment experiences.

Global Mobility Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate international assignment records in HRIS and mobility administration systems.

  • Monitor key assignment milestones, including work permits, payroll, social security, and assignment end dates.

  • Produce reports and analyses that support program effectiveness and compliance.

Global Compensation & Tax Administration

  • Lead global compensation and tax compliance activities under the International Mobility Program.

  • Conduct quarterly earnings and equity reviews.

  • Manage the global equity liability reporting process.

  • Partner with payroll teams, tax providers, and mobility colleagues to ensure accurate earnings reporting and tax compliance.

  • Oversee global tax equalization processes and tax equalization settlements.

  • Lead annual year-end activities and maintain global tax authorization documentation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in international mobility, including global compensation and tax compliance.

  • Strong understanding of international assignment administration and mobility practices.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across functions, cultures, and organizational levels.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
