A Porfolio Assistatant will support Relationship Managers with loan documentation, loan servicing, client management and pre-underwriting.

A Portfolio Assistant will focus on supporting the credit portfolio, but can be involved with the deposit relationships, as applicable. The individual in this position will need to have basic financial analysis and business acumen skills in order to assist with initial loan structures, pre-underwriting, and pricing models. In addition, the individual will assist in the ongoing risk management of their assigned credit portfolio.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Support the Relationship Management team with new loans and renewals. Review loan documents to ensure accuracy with the terms and conditions per credit approval.
  • Monitor reports (i.e. tickler, past due, exception, coming maturities) and completed credit memos.
  • Assist in preparation of MLR, LACR and CMOD as needed. Quality of underwriting and written analysis must meet Bank standards.
  • Correspond with customers and interact with internal parties regarding loan details and to collect various documents and financial information.
  • Assist in the management and creation of CRM opportunities, credit documents, and processing collateral release requests.
  • Assist with covenant tracking and collection of financials.
  • Communicate documentation requests and subsequent follow-up requests to clients.
  • Develop and maintain multiple tracking reports for the department (production, referrals to other units, status monitoring etc.)
  • Liaise with other business units internally to ensure client needs are met and to contribute to developing solutions and products that will ensure bank's leading edge. Interact and work in a positive and supportive way.
  • Assists in management of a complex portfolio of deposit and credit relationships with an emphasis on quality and profitability of accounts, while maintaining a minimum of delinquencies and documentation exceptions.
  • Assist with administrative responsibilities and other projects.

Salary Range: $85,000 - 100,000 per year. The compensation range for this position represents the minimum and maximum base salary for this role. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, location, education, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for additional bonuses, where applicable.
