CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our Generation & Energy Management Team in Atlanta, GA or Houston, TX. In this pivotal role, you will manage transformative projects that support energy generation, operational efficiency, and facility modernization efforts across a variety of industries. This is an opportunity to guide major facility initiatives, support strategic investments, and help organizations navigate an evolving energy landscape while delivering meaningful results that extend well beyond project completion.



What You'll Do:

    Manage all aspects of project delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships, while thoroughly understanding project risks and financial measures
  • Serve as a "seller/doer," developing work with specific clients and leading marketing plan development for target market areas
  • Lead and mentor other project managers, setting vision and strategy, and supporting professional growth across the team
  • Prepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents
  • Track and oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality control and compliance with company standards
  • Play a key role in client contract interpretation and relationship management, ensuring all client needs are met


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including 8 years of project management experience required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practices
  • Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
  • Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, and Deltek Vision preferred
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and oversee project accounting processes
  • Experience preparing proposals and project documentation as well as interpreting client contracts
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed

Salary Range:

$150,000 - $165,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
