Primary Purpose

As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers, make credit decisions within your authority, and provide recommendations on higher-risk accounts. You will partner closely with Sales and Collections to balance risk management with business growth.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, trade references, bank references, and public records to assess credit risk and establish credit limits.
  • Review and approve commercial credit applications within assigned authority levels.
  • Monitor customer portfolios and identify emerging credit risks.
  • Recommend credit limit, payment term, and risk rating adjustments.
  • Present credit recommendations and risk assessments to management.
  • Partner with Sales and Collections to support profitable growth while minimizing bad debt exposure.
  • Investigate credit concerns and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare clear and concise credit analyses and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Need

  • 5+ years of commercial B2B credit analysis experience.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Professional credit designation preferred (CCRA, CBA, or similar).
  • Strong experience analyzing financial statements, cash flow, profitability, and credit risk.
  • Experience with commercial credit tools such as D&B, Experian, CreditRiskMonitor, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to evaluate payment trends, risk ratings, public filings, and bankruptcy-related information.
  • Experience managing customer credit exposure and making independent credit decisions.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with SAP, including SAP Credit Management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and business partnership skills.
