Job Profile Summary

The Senior Financial Accountant, working under limited supervision, is responsible for conducting and documenting complex accounting projects, ensuring meticulous adherence to accounting principles, and performing strategic financial analysis contributing to optimized organizational growth, stability, and enhanced financial infrastructure in a dynamic and complex business environment. The role encompasses a comprehensive financial scope, involving the review of financial statements, reconciliation of accounts, adherence to GAAP, meticulous cash management, daily updates to the corporate signing authority system, and intricate financial analysis for strategic decision-making. The role also conducts budgeting and forecasting activities, oversees software implementation or upgrades for operational efficiency, initiates cost accounting activities, and identifies cost-saving opportunities. The role extends to guiding and developing junior team members, enhancing their professional growth and strengthening overall team proficiency within the Financial Accounting function.

Job Description

* Identifies, diagnoses, and recommends solutions independently, collaborates across disciplines, and demonstrates advanced project management skills, contributing to company performance and goals.
* Reviews financial statements' entries, reconciles accounts, and ensures financial data comply with established standards and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), theories, and concepts.
* Processes cash receipts, reviews daily cash disbursements including checks, direct deposits, and wires, oversees accurate financial records and ensures seamless daily cash flow management.
* Communicates daily updates for the corporate signing authority system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of authorization records for financial transactions within the organization.
* Performs intricate financial analysis leveraging advanced methodologies, offering nuanced insights into business performance, and facilitating informed strategic decision-making for optimizing organizational growth and financial stability.
* Manages complex intricacies associated with adhering to international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and navigating the challenges of currency exchange fluctuations, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting in a global context.
* Prepares budgeting and forecasting processes, compares actual results to projections, and offers insights on variances, aiding in corrective action development for optimal financial performance.
* Oversees implementation or upgradation financial software systems, aiming to optimize operational efficiency and ensure precision in financial processes, thereby contributing to the overall enhancement of the organizational financial management infrastructure.
* Conducts cost accounting activities, including analyzing production costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and contributing to cost control strategies.
* Mentors and trains junior financial staff, fostering their professional development and enhancing the overall capabilities of the finance team. Education:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required.
Experience:
* 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in areas such as Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Financial Operations or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
