What You'll Do

SourceAmerica is seeking a Manager, Prime Operations to join the Account Products team. This role provides team leadership and management of the operational aspects for prime operations. Ensures contract compliance and requirements are met working with other business units and subcontractors. Leads and assist in growth opportunities for additional contracts. Supervises and manage team resources and projects in all stages of maintenance and development. Manages staff and their responsibilities for providing support to Nonprofit Agencies (NPAs) and/or federal customers. Maintains knowledge of federal contracting to assist NPAs and federal government customers with AbilityOne, Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) and commercial contracts. Provides technical assistance as needed.

How You Will Spend Your Day ...

Team Management

  • Lead oversight of efforts and actions of Operations in providing program management, process advice, technical assistance for prime contracts.
  • Manage and direct activities within their area of responsibility regarding the terms of our contracts, policies, and regulations, ensuring contract compliance.
  • Provide support to SourceAmerica staff and NPA staff relative to the functional areas of contract management, procurement, costing, budgeting, regulatory process, and guidelines.
  • Monitor contract performance and customer satisfaction by conducting or supporting site visits, partnering meetings, technical assistance, and other support as needed.
  • Provide technical support to the NPAs and customers for the document destruction/recycling lines of business.
  • Identifies and allocates resources needs in support of the team.

Performance Management

  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance necessary to support other team members or initiatives.
  • Function as mentor, coach, and developmental expert, responsible for resource allocation, and may interface with senior leadership - internally and externally.
  • Initiates and leads communication with our Federal Customers and our NPA's to ensure performance and customer satisfaction.

Customer Engagement

  • As needed, acts as the lead in communications with our Federal Customers and our Nonprofit Agencies (NPAs) to ensure performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training to federal and NPA customer on SourceAmerica or program processes, procedures and industries.
  • Engage customers effectively to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Contract Management

  • Provide independent /complex problem-solving support as related to SourceAmerica's contracts.
  • Lead teams to resolve contract risks. Establish/update procedures to prevent future risks.
  • Oversee prime and subcontracts to ensure contract compliance in management, administration and performance.
  • Manage contract funding to ensure contract operations.
  • Track and manage contract deliverables to ensure contract compliance.

Continuous Improvement

  • Lead teams to identify and resolve conflicting business requirements, data discrepancies, and create/maintain tracking reports for the department.
  • Maintain and create documentation on processes and procedures.

Budget/Revenue/Invoice Management

  • Manage budget and assist in creating a budget to reflect operations goals for each fiscal year.
  • Review and process invoices per contract requirements as needed, Resolve invoices issues.
  • May maintain data/statistics to support the budget and ongoing performance operations.
  • Other Organization Responsibilities

Salary Range

The salary for this position falls in a range between $120,000 - $130,000 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Contract Management / Acquisition Management, Operations Management.
  • 5+ years of work experience for a manager level role.
  • Demonstrated experience contract management and operations to include compliance, resolving complex operational risks.
  • Experience using ERP/business systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Business travel: 15% to 20% is required for this position based on business need

Preferred Qualifications ...

  • 10+ years of relevant Prime contract experience.
  • Knowledge of SourceAmerica and the AbilityOne Program.
  • Proven abilities in networking, negotiation, decision making, problem-solving, training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Ability to communicate and present with all NPA and Federal government leadership, managers, and administrators.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and evaluate staff to assign training to build competencies for a nationwide SourceAmerica team supporting assigned accounts.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle complex actions and multiple priorities.
  • Working knowledge of leadership and management with expertise in organizational effectiveness.
  • Working knowledge of the Federal acquisition process and procedures includes the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Code of Federal Regulations (CFAR), JWOD Act, and AbilityOne policies and procedures.
  • Experience evaluating capabilities and capacities.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and develop business and operational processes.
  • Skilled in cost analysis and contemporary business practices.
  • Continuous process improvement through innovation and efficient application of team member talents and prioritization of other available resources.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions with diverse points of view; and apply good judgment to situations without perfect information.

Work Environment

Our organization offers both a hybrid work model-where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek-as well as a fully remote work model, depending on the job requirements. *Due to the travel requirements (15% to 20%) for this position the ideal candidate must be located near a major airport.
