The RML Operations Unit, operating within the Nuclear Test Operations (NTO) Subdivision, is looking for its next Radiological Work Team Supervisor. The Rad Work Team Supervisor position will: Directly supervise individual contributor employees such as Rad Work Team (RWT) personnel for the Radioactive Materials Laboratory (RML) as well as level 1 Supervisors. Exercise leadership qualities to influence and enlist the support of direct reports as well as support personnel in the accomplishment of the unit's tasks. Supervise the execution of radiological work within the test facility to maintain and preserve the testing capability of the lab. Interface with Post Irradiated Exams Engineering and Operations (PIE-E and PIE-O) personnel such as cell operators and cell leads to ensure work tasks are completed in a safe, compliant and efficient manner. Guide decisions by policies, procedures, and business plan, and establish work practices which implement policies, processes, and procedures that affect subordinate employees and the workflow of the work unit, with guidance from Unit Manager. Lead investigations and commonality efforts aimed at improved efficiency and effectiveness in work efforts. Maintain and support the cleanliness preservation and stowage of equipment, tooling and materials within the facility. Resolve issues encountered in the field during work. Ensure the correct and timely execution of operations work while maintaining the technical excellence of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. *Position will require qualification as Production Radiological Controls Supervisor (PRCS) and Contamination Worker. Pay Range
$106,200.00 - $166,000.00 annually
Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
