Required Experience:

• Strong experience with SQL Server Administration
• Experience in SQL Performance Tuning

• Experience troubleshooting production database environments
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery (Always On AG)
• Experience with Replication
• Experience managing enterprise SQL Server environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments.
• Monitor database health, availability, and performance.
• Optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and ad-hoc SQL.
• Analyze execution plans and implement Query Store recommendations.
• Manage indexes, statistics, and partitioning strategies.
• Perform blocking analysis and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Administer Always On Availability Groups and Replication.
• Manage SQL Agent and SSIS jobs.
• Apply SQL Server patches, Cumulative Updates, and Service Packs.
• Monitor CPU, memory, disk utilization, and TempDB performance.
• Manage database security, user roles, and permissions.
• Work closely with application development teams to resolve database-related issues.
• Ensure database capacity planning and storage management.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 6+ years of Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience (estimated based on the technologies listed)
• Strong troubleshooting and database performance tuning skills
• Experience supporting production-critical SQL Server environments
• Knowledge of SQL Server High Availability (Always On AG)
• Strong understanding of indexing, execution plans, Query Store, and T-SQL optimization
• Experience collaborating with application development teams
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools such as SolarWinds DPA and Dynatrace is an advantage.
