Director of Tax - Lead Global Tax Strategy and Financial Reporting

What Makes This Role Great

You will serve as a key financial leader, directly influencing Trimble's global tax strategy, guiding the U.S. Tax Operations team, and driving critical decision-making across complex domestic and international M&A transactions.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end quarterly and annual global income tax provision process (ASC 740) and oversee SEC tax disclosures.

• Provide strategic forecasts and guidance regarding future effective tax rates and cash taxes to executive leadership.

• Drive U.S. federal and state compliance alongside comprehensive tax due diligence and post-acquisition integration for M&A activities.

• Manage, mentor, and develop the U.S. Tax Operations team to foster professional growth and operational excellence.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with 12+ years of combined experience in a major public accounting firm and the technology industry.

• Extensive expertise in ASC 740, US GAAP, and fundamental US tax principles, including international, state, and local tax.

• Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to guide technical teams and communicate complex tax issues across all organizational levels.

• CPA - Certified Public Accountant License

Bonus Points For

• Master's degree in Taxation.

• Experience with AI applications in corporate tax functions.
