Your role Core Function:
This role entails the inspection and testing of both in-process and finished products, alongside the training of new staff members on the functions of the quality process and best practices in productio

Key Responsibilities:



  • Program and operate computer-controlled measuring machines, while also training others to do the same.
  • Oversee the calibration program and instruct others on adhering to measurement and testing procedures.
  • Conduct and train others in all necessary inspections and tests to ensure that every product meets specifications.
  • Compile, complete, and analyze reports and records as needed to demonstrate compliance with specifications (such as Pareto analysis and histograms).
  • Educate others on the use of micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and other manual inspection tools essential for confirming that all products meet specifications.
  • Guide others in inspecting all products for any overlooked operations and assist in sorting and segregating non-conforming items.
  • Process and train others on how to handle RMA materials.
  • Recognize the need for corrective and preventive action requests, issue them, and follow up accordingly.
  • Conduct and initiate material reviews of non-conforming products to determine their disposition.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement necessary procedures and work instructions.
  • Execute related tasks as assigned and directed by the immediate supervisor
  • Participate in Total Customer Value processes and support EHS programs


To succeed, you will need

Educational Background and Professional Experience:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Relevant Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
  • Prior test experience.
  • Capability to meet the qualifications for the role of Quality Assurance Technician.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in training colleagues to effectively perform all responsibilities within the Quality Department.
  • Readiness to work any required shift and carry out job duties to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Capacity to lift and transport a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb, twist, turn, bend, stoop, kneel, push loads, and work at moderate elevations.
  • Must exhibit flexibility and be a collaborative team member.
  • Reliably maintain an exceptional attendance record
