As a key Apparel Designer, you will be at the forefront of shaping knitwear and lounge collections, directly influencing the products customers wear and love. Your visionary designs will translate global trends into tangible, wearable art, significantly impacting the brand's aesthetic and commercial triumph.

About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will ignite creativity and expertise to bring collections to life, contributing directly to the brand's continued success and evolution. You will:



  • Design original apparel concepts across knitwear, sweaters, and lounge categories, with a strong focus on womenswear.
  • Translate global fashion trends into cohesive seasonal collections that align seamlessly with the brand's direction and commercial objectives.
  • Create compelling sketches, mood boards, and presentation materials to effectively communicate your design vision to cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate closely with sourcing, materials, and product development teams to ensure design integrity from initial concept through to final production.
  • Strategically select fabrics, colors, and trims, balancing aesthetic appeal with essential performance requirements.
  • Actively participate in fit sessions, providing expert input to refine garment construction and improve overall fit.
  • Support the entire seasonal line development process, from the generation of initial concepts to the final production handover.


Required Skills & Experience

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses a deep understanding of the apparel design lifecycle. To excel in this role, you will need:



  • 3-7+ years of experience in apparel design, with a dedicated focus on knitwear, sweaters, or lounge categories.
  • A strong ability to conceptualize and execute original designs, transforming innovative ideas into market-ready products.
  • Deep understanding of current fashion trends, color theory, and fabric development, with an intuitive eye for what resonates with consumers.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with product development and sourcing teams, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of garment construction, fit principles, and body blocks.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work that powerfully demonstrates your creative vision and technical skills.
  • A creative mindset, capable of turning trends into wearable, brand-right designs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a keen eye for fit, fabric, and finish.
  • A collaborative spirit, comfortable working effectively across diverse teams.
  • The ability to balance innovative design with commercial impact and viability.


What Will Set You Apart

  • Extensive womenswear experience, particularly in sleepwear or loungewear.
  • Expertise in sweater design, including in-depth knowledge of yarns, stitch techniques, and gauges.
  • Experience operating effectively in fast-paced or high-volume retail environments.
  • Exposure to global sourcing practices and successful vendor collaboration.
