We're seeking a future team member for the role of Estate Settlement Specialist, Client Service II to join our Wealth Management team. This role may be located in Philadelphia or Pittsburgh. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Work with internal and external Estate Settlement partners and clients to resolve moderately complex day-to-day estate administration issues and direct them to appropriate resources at BNY.
- Support internal and external Estate Settlement partners and clients in addressing moderately complex operational, administrative, and technical issues and ensure requests are executed accurately and on time.
- Apply intermediate problem-solving skills, experience, and judgment to analyze information and resolve non-routine issues.
- Use strong communication skills to deliver high-quality service to internal and external Estate Settlement partners and clients and provide information on BNY products and services across multiple lines of business and geographies, with a focus on supporting the unique needs of estate beneficiaries, executors, attorneys, and related parties.
- Monitor internal and external Estate Settlement partners and clients inquiries, escalate complex issues to the appropriate team member, and help ensure timely follow-up throughout the estate settlement lifecycle
- Participate in internal initiatives to improve the client experience, recommend process improvements, and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
- Support multiple, moderately complex estate settlement relationships/accounts and, where applicable, provide people leadership in certain geographies.
- Support National Estate Settlement team lead through preparation and coordination of financial, operational, and business reporting, including tracking volumes, workflow activity, service metrics, and other management reporting to support oversight of the Estate Settlement business.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
- Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.
- Strong understanding of client service processes, issue resolution, and operational support.
- Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate across teams, and manage multiple client requests effectively.
