We are in search of a Project Coordinator I or Project Coordinator II to join our Project Management department in Spokane, Washington (Headquarters). This full-time position reports to the VP, Project Management and supports project managers, business analysts, and team leaders in the management of AgWest Farm Credit's project portfolio. The project coordinator also operates in project management capacity for small projects and action items and serves as system administrator of the organizational product management and project and portfolio management system.

Compensation Information

The base salary range for this position in Spokane, Washington is:

Level I:
Typical starting range: $44,200 - $58,900
Full base salary range: $44,200 - $66,200
Annual performance-based incentive target is 6% of base.

Level II:
Typical starting range: $48,400 - $64,500
Full base salary range: $48,400 - $72,600
Annual performance-based incentive target is 6% of base.

*Relocation assistance will be provided to eligible candidates who must relocate to accept this position.

Essential Duties



  • Coordinate with project managers and business analysts throughout project lifecycles to provide support such as scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and documenting project status updates in tracking systems.
  • Maintain and review information in project portfolio systems, monitor data and documentation for accuracy, and work with project managers and business analysts when updates are needed to ensure adherence to Project Management Guidelines.
  • Manage small projects, project workstreams and action items to successful completion within scope, schedule, and budget, in accordance with the AgWest project management methodologies.
  • Serve as administrator for the organizational product, project and portfolio management systems; duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing new functionality, writing procedures, assisting users, and working with system vendor on bugs and enhancements.
  • Create and maintain project portfolio reporting using data provided by project managers.
  • Maintain department forms such as project and product management templates and guidelines.
  • Review and process invoices related to technology initiatives and project-based work.
  • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Travel Requirements



  • AgWest employees may occasionally be asked to travel for all-staff or team meetings not included in the standard travel requirements for the role.


Minimum Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years' progressively responsible administrative or project coordination experience
  • Ability to successfully coordinate small projects and actions items with guidance
  • Ability to research, write and clearly communicate business information
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, organize and control assigned activities with limited guidance
  • Strong computer skills with the MS Office suite
  • Ability to learn new technologies and processes
  • Ability to develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of AgWest Farm Credit business practices, products and key systems


Preferred Qualifications



  • Associate's or bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in corporate administration
  • Experience reporting project information using systems such as PowerBI, Planview PPM Pro and AgilePlace, Visio and Excel
  • Understanding of basic project management and agile concepts
  • Experience working in financial institution operations
