What to Expect We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Process Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will own the movement, staging, and handoff of equipment across teams and locations, ensuring the right gear reaches the right people on time and in working order. You will coordinate transport, set up, and recovery of robotics and related operational equipment to keep teams productive and minimize downtime. Shifts available: 8:00AM - 4:30PM, 4:00PM - 12:30AM, 12:00AM - 8:30AM What You'll Do Coordinate and execute movement of equipment (robotics systems, motion capture suits, data collection setups, and related hardware) to and from teams, labs, and field locations Provide first-line technical support on delivery and pickup, addressing hardware issues so gear is usable on arrival Monitor condition of motion capture suits and other high-use assets during transit and between deployments; flag wear, damage, or calibration needs Deploy and tear down data collection operational setups in new locations, including layout, basic connectivity checks, and return-to-storage Troubleshoot network connectivity and basic hardware issues that block setup or handoff at destination sites Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations teams on equipment needs, upgrade rollouts, and relocation schedules Assist with inventory management: location tracking, spare parts, and ordering replacements so equipment can be redistributed without delay What You'll Bring Proven experience in operations support, equipment logistics, or a similar role involving moving and staging technical hardware Comfort handling, packing, and transporting sensitive equipment safely and efficiently Proficiency troubleshooting hardware issues across common platforms Familiarity with network basics, configurations, and connectivity troubleshooting Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under time pressure and shifting priorities Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-team handoffs and status updates Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $25.25 - $43.70/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
