Job Duties



  • Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications.
  • Load raw materials and monitor machining operations to ensure parts meet quality standards.
  • Measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
  • Perform routine tool changes, offsets, and minor machine adjustments to maintain production efficiency.
  • Inspect parts throughout the production process and document inspection results.
  • Identify and report machine malfunctions, quality concerns, or production issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain production records and complete required documentation accurately.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and manufacturing standards.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and continuous improvement goals.



Requirements



  • 2+ years of lathe experiece
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Steel-toe shoes
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Able to read blueprints + use precision meansuring instruments
