Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, residents, staff, and community members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to ride a bike.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
