Title: Safety Sr Supervisor

Location: Conshohocken, PA
Overview

As a Senior Safety Supervisor, you will provide Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) leadership and support for Life Sciences construction projects in the Southeast Pennsylvania region, with opportunities to support future projects across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and other locations in North America.

In this role, you will partner with project teams, construction management, and regional HSE leadership to promote a proactive safety culture, drive continuous improvement, and ensure projects are executed with zero worker injuries and minimal impact to client operations. The position requires strong field presence, leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to build trusted relationships with project stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HSE leadership and support for active construction projects.
  • Partner with project leadership, construction management, and regional HSE teams to implement project safety strategies.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture focused on incident prevention and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical HSE guidance and ensure consistent implementation of company safety programs, processes, and procedures.
  • Interpret safety regulations and provide training, coaching, and technical support to project teams.
  • Lead or support incident notification, investigations, reporting, injury management, and return-to-work activities.
  • Develop project-specific HSE plans and review subcontractor safety plans, hazard assessments, and related deliverables.
  • Participate in operational readiness reviews and project safety meetings.
  • Conduct field safety observations, inspections, assessments, and compliance audits across multiple trades.
  • Support subcontractors in implementing safe work practices while maintaining accountability for safety performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, regulatory records, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients, project teams, and construction leadership to integrate safety into project execution.
  • Provide visible field leadership and foster an inclusive, collaborative work environment that prioritizes worker safety.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to pursuit strategies and promoting strong HSE performance.


Travel Requirements

  • Primary work location is anticipated to be Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
  • Regular travel throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic United States is expected.
  • Future project assignments may require additional travel within the U.S. and North America.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE/EHS), Safety, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant construction experience.
  • Preferred professional HSE certification and/or degree in safety, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of construction industry experience that includes:

    • HSE/EHS support on active construction projects; and/or
    • Construction trade or craft leadership experience (Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, Lead Craft, etc.) with safety oversight responsibilities.


  • Experience supporting and enforcing safe work practices for self-perform and subcontractor crews.
  • Must possess at least one of the following certifications:

    • OSHA 30-Hour Construction
    • OSHA 510
    • CHST
    • CSP


  • Experience delivering:

    • Safety training
    • Toolbox talks
    • Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
    • Employee coaching in construction environments


  • Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
  • Experience implementing company and client safety programs at the project level.
  • Ability to perform safety observations, inspections, compliance reviews, and risk assessments across multi-trade construction sites.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance experience.
  • Proficiency with:

    • Microsoft Word
    • Excel
    • Outlook
    • PowerPoint
    • Microsoft Teams


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage craft workers, supervisors, subcontractors, and project leadership.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting construction projects in regulated or mission-critical environments.
  • Experience collaborating with clients, design teams, and construction management to proactively integrate safety into project execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence project teams and promote a consistent safety culture across multiple contractors.
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
  • Commitment to visible field leadership and continuous improvement in safety performance.
