Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Practice Supervisor - Manhattan, Orthopedic Center.

Responsible for supervising and maintaining an efficient office operation and perform responsible administrative oversight of a complex and confidential nature in support of office management activities and various administrative responsibilities. Works under general direction

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensures office inventory is properly stocked
  • Oversees authorizations for medications and procedures are done on a timely basis
  • Review work queues and EPIC in basket for completion and ensure voicemails and faxes are appropriately handled
  • Resolves office problems independently and facilitate solutions; confer with department leadership to resolve more complex situations.
  • Assists department leadership in planning and implementing office development based on knowledge of current office operations.
  • Coordinates and schedules arrangements for meetings, conferences, seminars and patient appointments.
  • Create and maintain physician schedule changes in Epic/Cadence.
  • Manages phone system to ensure all calls are managed in a timely manner.
  • Supervises employees with capacity to hire, terminate, discipline, delegate tasks and complete performance evaluations.
  • Oversees day-to-day operations. Oversees front desk coverage, scheduling and registration, and check in process.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of two to three years of experience in office management/supervision or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Infusion scheduling/Surgical Scheduling and the detailed workflow involved. Experience in facilitating and leading initiatives or projects. Extensive competency with varied computer EPIC, Cadence, Cisco Phone Systems, and the ability to retrieve data in OnBase.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $70,481.61 - $99,110.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
