Job Overview

The Sr Manager Solutions Architect is an experienced Solutions Architect with a broad range of technical skills, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to guide teams through complex solution development. This individual will have experience in the full software development life cycle and designing and rolling out complex IT solutions. In addition to providing architectural guidance across multiple concurrent major projects, this role includes direct management responsibilities, with a focus on mentorship, team development, oversight, and leadership to ensure high-quality delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership - Lead, coach, and develop team members while providing direction and oversight for key initiatives.
  • Solution Guidance - Help teams define product requirements, evaluate feasibility, and align solutions with enterprise standards and business needs.
  • Best Practices and Continuous Improvement - Promote consistent software principles, architecture patterns, and effective ways of working across teams.
  • Communication and Alignment - Share priorities, risks, recommendations, and team insights with architecture leadership, project teams, and stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Knowledge and experience in Computer Science and Information Technology
  • Ability to successfully complete technical assessments demonstrating expertise in full-stack web development using technologies such as .Net, Node.js, SQL, and Git. Additional relevant skills include proficiency with Linux environments and familiarity with AI technologies.
  • Prior architecture or lead developer experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (4 years)
  • Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 7 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology
  • Prior people leadership or management experience preferred
