Purpose of the role The Senior Document Controller - Field Services serves as the lead document control professional on assigned projects and acts as the primary interface between project personnel, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders for all document management activities. You will be responsible for ensuring all project documentation is accurately logged, controlled, distributed, archived, and maintained within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). You will establish and maintain accurate project databases that capture every revision of project documents, drawings, specifications, vendor data, quality records, and other controlled information throughout the life of the project. Through strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and technical expertise, you will help ensure project teams maintain compliance with customer requirements, company procedures, and document management standards. As a senior-level specialist, you may also provide guidance, training, and support to less experienced document control personnel while contributing to the development and improvement of document control systems, processes, and best practices.
