Job Summary

The Commercial CreditSpecialist is responsible for processing commercial lien filings and lien releases while supporting accounts receivable and credit operations. This role ensures lien documentation is accurate, complete, and processed within established timelines. The position also provides administrative support to the Credit department, maintains customer records, and assists with mail processing, documentation, and customer account maintenance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Process commercial lien filings, preliminary notices, and lien releases accurately and within required deadlines.
  • Manage the lien release mailbox and research payment status to prepare and distribute lien waivers.
  • Enter lien notice and preliminary notice information into internal systems.
  • Submit property owner search requests to support commercial lien processing.
  • Prepare and distribute joint check acknowledgment letters.
  • Maintain customer contact information and account records within company systems.
  • Audit, track, and verify customer refund checks prior to release.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail, including certified and overnight shipments.
  • Contact customers to obtain updated account and mailing information.
  • Order departmental office supplies and provide general administrative support.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to lien and credit activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform additional credit and administrative duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial lien processing, accounts receivable, credit administration, or a related field.
  • Experience processing lien releases, preliminary notices, or commercial lien documentation highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting accounts receivable or commercial credit functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience working with ERP, credit management, or accounts receivable systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
