Langley Federal Credit Union is currently hiring for a Full Time Business Banking Treasury Specialist, to work a Hybrid from our City Center office, located in Newport News, VA.

Job Summary:

Provides advanced operational and client support to the Business and Community Banking team, with a primary focus on customer service and cash management (treasury) functions. This role serves as a key point of contact for business members, delivering an exceptional service experience while supporting treasury services, account maintenance, and complex client requests. Operates with a high level of independence and accountability, partnering with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure the timely resolution of issues and the effective delivery of cash management solutions. This role is cross-trained in loan servicing, loan closing, and portfolio management functions, providing flexible support across the business banking platform.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:



  • Serves as a primary point of contact for business members, delivering exceptional customer service and resolving complex inquiries and requests
  • Supports and administers cash management (treasury) services, including onboarding, maintenance, and troubleshooting of products such as ACH, wires, remote deposit capture, and online banking
  • Manages and maintains cash management vendor relationships, coordinating issue resolution, escalations, and service enhancements
  • Partners with business banking officers to support client onboarding and ensure a seamless client experience across deposit and treasury products
  • Opens and maintains business deposit accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Handles a wide range of business member service requests, including account maintenance, transaction research, and problem resolution
  • Proactively identifies service issues and drives solutions to enhance the client experience and prevent future disruptions
  • Provides guidance and support to clients on treasury services and best practices
  • Supports loan servicing, loan closing, and portfolio management functions as needed, including assisting with documentation, servicing requests, and tracking portfolio requirements
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including BSA/AML policies and procedures
  • Maintains accurate records and documentation, ensuring audit readiness and data integrity
  • Collaborates with internal departments and external partners to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational risk
  • Assists leadership with reporting, tracking, and administrative functions as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


Qualifications:



  • A bachelor's degree in business or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, working experience, and/or training is required.
  • Three or more years of experience administering treasury or cash management products such as ACH, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, or online banking platforms in a financial institution is required.
  • Must hold or have the ability to obtain the Cash Management Professional (CMP) Tru Treasury certification within 9 months of hire.
  • Previous experience in cross-selling financial products preferred.


Targeted Salary Range- $57,100 - $72,000
