Job Title: Managing Director -Retail Alternatives Transfer Agency

Location: Union, New Jersey

About the Role
We are seeking a Managing Directorworking across functional teams within our Retail Alts business unitwith operating locations in Kansas City, Boston and Denver, USA and Hyderabad, India. This high-impact leadership role oversees strategic client relationships, drives operational excellence, and leads initiatives to grow revenue through expanded client mandates and service penetration. This role may require 25% to 50% US domestic travel.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Provide executive oversight of client engagements, ensuring delivery excellence, operational rigor, and regulatory compliance.

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients, fostering trusted, long-term relationships.

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand existing client relationships, cross-sell services, and drive organic revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with business development teams to convert strategic opportunities into commercial wins.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across intermediary services, client delivery and operational support functions.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to design and implement scalable operating models that drive efficiency and client satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with global leadership on strategic initiatives, technology deployment and innovation, resource planning, and future-state organizational alignment.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in transfer agency, fund administration, asset servicing, or financial services, including significant experience supporting retail investment products.

  • Demonstrated success providing executive oversight of complex client engagements, with accountability for service delivery, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

  • Proven ability to build trusted executive relationships with clients while driving client satisfaction, retention, and commercial growth through strategic partnership and business development.

  • Deep expertise in transfer agency operations, investor services, intermediary distribution, and the regulatory environment governing financial services.

  • Proven executive leadership experience developing high-performing teams, fostering accountability, and collaborating across global, cross-functional organizations to deliver business objectives.

  • Strong commercial, strategic, and operational acumen with the ability to identify opportunities to improve client outcomes, enhance operating models, and leverage technology to support business growth and operational efficiency.

  • Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to manage multiple strategic priorities and effectively engage clients, regulators, and senior stakeholders.
