The Opportunity The Admissions & Scholarship team at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management is dedicated to attracting, selecting, and matriculating a highly talented and diverse MBA student population. Reporting to the Director of Admissions Operations, the Admissions Officer plays a key role in supporting the admissions process for Johnson's residential MBA programs through applicant evaluation, candidate interviews, and recommendations to the Admissions Committee. This position also serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students, providing personalized guidance from inquiry through application submission while promoting a thorough understanding of Johnson's programs, admissions requirements, career resources, and student experience. In addition to supporting recruitment and admissions activities, the Admissions Officer coordinates interview logistics, contributes to admissions events and campus visits, and partners with colleagues across the school to deliver an exceptional candidate experience. This is a full-time, three-year term position with the possibility of renewal based on funding, performance, and business needs. This is a fixed-term position based in Ithaca, New York, with an initial three-year appointment. The selected candidate will work fully onsite during the initial onboarding and training period, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement thereafter based on business needs and supervisor approval. Core business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the specific schedule determined in collaboration with the supervisor. Renewal beyond the initial three-year term is contingent upon funding availability, business needs, and satisfactory performance.
