Job Summary

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager is responsible for executing, optimizing, and managing personalized onsite marketing campaigns across web, mobile web, and connected TV platforms. This role leverages marketing automation and personalization technologies to deliver targeted customer experiences that drive acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization. The ideal candidate has experience with subscription-based business models, onsite personalization platforms, marketing automation, and customer lifecycle strategies while collaborating with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Creative, and Marketing teams.

Job Responsibilities



  • Build, configure, test, launch, and maintain onsite lifecycle marketing campaigns across multiple markets and digital platforms.
  • Configure audience segmentation, campaign triggers, business rules, frequency capping, and customer journey workflows.
  • Monitor campaign performance before, during, and after launch, identifying and resolving technical or operational issues.
  • Develop personalized customer experiences based on lifecycle stage, subscription status, geographic location, device type, behavioral data, and content preferences.
  • Track campaign performance and recommend optimization strategies to improve customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, CRM, Analytics, Creative, and Regional Marketing teams to execute marketing initiatives.
  • Support experimentation, A/B testing, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent campaigns while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely execution.
  • Support promotional messaging, subscription offers, feature announcements, content promotions, and customer communications.
  • Assist with reporting, campaign analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and support ongoing enhancements to lifecycle marketing programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, product marketing, or a related role.
  • Recent hands-on experience with Redfast or Recurly Engage is required.
  • Experience supporting subscription-based business models, including customer acquisition, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, pricing changes, and retention strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with marketing automation or personalization platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Iterable, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL for audience validation, segmentation, and campaign analysis preferred.
  • Experience integrating Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) such as Segment, mParticle, Tealium, or Adobe Experience Platform preferred.
  • Understanding of experimentation frameworks, feature flags, and A/B testing methodologies preferred.
  • Knowledge of subscription lifecycle metrics including trial conversion, customer retention, churn, renewals, and lifetime value (LTV) preferred.
  • Familiarity with localization management systems and multilingual content workflows preferred.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, and event-driven marketing architectures preferred.
  • Experience supporting streaming, subscription, direct-to-consumer (D2C), or digital media organizations preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
