Join a dynamic Human Resources team supporting employees across WBI Energy, MDU Resources, and the MDU Utilities Group. This position provides administrative and clerical support to the Regulated HR team while helping deliver a positive experience for employees, candidates, and visitors.

As a key point of contact, for employees, candidates and visitors, you'll help coordinate trainings and meetings, maintain records, prepare documents and support a variety of HR programs and initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, service-oriented professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and supporting a wide range of Human Resources initiatives while placing safety as a #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Must possess a working knowledge of office procedures and software at a level normally acquired through the completion of a two-year degree in a business or office related discipline and
  • Two years' experience providing administrative support.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS


  • Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
  • This position is located in Bismarck, ND.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
  • May be required to maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Prior Human Resources work experience or post-secondary education.
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Provide first point of contact customer service for Human Resources department, front desk, answer phone calls, greet office visitors, employees, respond to general customer questions.
  • Support the general administrative needs of the Human Resources Department and other internal departments.
  • Maintain paper and electronic filing systems, assuring compliance with retention schedules.
  • Provide logistical planning, coordination and support for departmental and General/Corporate office meetings and events.
  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
