The hourly rate range for this position is $20.00. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations. This position serves as event staff representative for pre/during/and post events as necessary in terms of Audio/Video and other event needs. Organizes and orchestrates flow of IT/AV equipment inventory. Serves as an IT/AV Event staff who will move, pickup, deliver, and/or install IT/AV related equipment and other materials as assigned/dictated by the event. Mounting televisions, setting up temporary or portable speaker systems, installing temporary event phones/phone lines, mounting temporary or permanent access points are all general scopes of work for events. In addition, opportunities for larger scale projects include running new fiber and CAT5 cable for various IT needs. Assists with the execution of large scale and smaller facility events including athletic competitions, concerts, and community events. Assists with demonstrating first class customer service.
