The Role The Director of Revenue Cycle Services, Regional Business Partner (RBP), works in collaboration with PSJH leadership and Revenue Cycle Regional Executive Partner to transform revenue cycle into a world-class operation for one of the largest and most innovative health companies in the United States. This role drives change in a large, highly matrixed organization, leveraging data, analytics, and best-in-class technology to deliver revenue uplift. This leader is accountable for achieving revenue cycle performance goals and financial targets and driving enhanced revenue yield for an assigned region. The RBP is responsible for building effective internal partnerships and promoting collaborative relationships with regional leadership and enterprise shared services, including finance, reimbursement, payer contracting, information technology, legal, and compliance. This leader continually evaluates end-to-end revenue cycle processes to maintain best practice standards and realize service and quality commitments, ensuring that key stakeholders are kept fully informed on performance and important factors influencing it. This leader maintains current knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements and has considerable expertise in payer contracts. The position requires a hands-on, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-moving, dynamic environment within a challenging and evolving industry. This leader must inspire, mentor, and cultivate critical relationships with executives to drive operational outcomes in assigned region(s). The RBP functions as the RC representative on local regional leadership committees and serves as the key point of contact for communication between acute ministries and RC. This position partners with Chief Financial Officers and other regional leaders at the hospital level and/or other lines of business such as physician billing, post-acute, and ambulatory care network to develop revenue cycle strategy that closely supports the aims of the ministry or market, working closely with senior leadership. This role is accountable for achieving performance metrics and responsible for sharing timely and critical revenue cycle management information, trends, and opportunities between assigned ministries and RC leadership. This position is also responsible for providing revenue cycle support as requested by RC leadership to Community Connect, Affiliates, managed acute facilities, and physician and ambulatory enterprises. The RBP is responsible for maintaining an open relationship between RC and the reimbursement team, payer contracting, financial planning and analysis, and operational and administrative leadership of assigned ministries and for assuring that issues raised by ministries are addressed and resolution is fully communicated. In addition, this position provides local leadership and serves as a resource and facilitator in the standardization of RC policies and practices. The full pay range is listed in accordance with applicable law. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, organizational compensation alignment, and the approved hiring department budget for the position. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation and benefits. Therefore, leaders applying for this role will be required to work a hybrid schedule, which consists of three days onsite, two days remote and live within a reasonable commuting distance to the ministry or service area they support and lead. Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
