Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, students, faculty, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a museum and educational setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, classrooms, public spaces, offices, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; assist with visitor screening, credential verification, and access control in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Support a welcoming environment for guests while helping protect artwork, collections, property, and personnel through professional presence and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
