As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Diploma Required in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established financial institution procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, facility concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity records, while adhering to applicable armed post policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
