Security Officer - Entry Control

As a Security Officer - Entry Control in SEGUIN, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will support a welcoming, orderly environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials, maintain entry records, and control access in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access areas, parking areas, loading and receiving locations, and the business perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
