Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Engineer, Industrial Water to help grow our industrial water and wastewater engineering practice. This individual can be based in one of our Oakland, CA; San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA; or from any of our other Geosyntec offices throughout the U.S. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team actively engaged in growing Geosyntec's Industrial Water practice. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand Geosyntec's presence across a broad range of industrial sectors while supporting technology advancement and project execution for complex industrial water, wastewater, treatment, reuse, and water management projects nationwide. This position is well suited for a talented, experienced individual who is interested in winning and leading innovative and challenging industrial water projects while collaborating with a dedicated team of technical and business professionals to grow the practice. We operate under a sell-manage-do culture, and all employees contribute to challenging technical projects while leveraging their experience to expand Geosyntec's practice through business development and client management. In this role, you will help develop and execute strategies to grow our Industrial Water practice, identify and pursue opportunities across a variety of industrial markets, and serve as a project director for large and/or complex water and wastewater projects. Some of the key responsibilities for this client-facing position include:
Develop and implement strategic business plans to grow Geosyntec's Industrial Water practice across diverse industrial sectors, including manufacturing, energy, mining, life sciences, technology, food and beverage, and other process industries.

The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec's total compensation package for employees. Actual compensation will be determined based on education, experience, skill set and location.
