Volunteer Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Volunteer Services Specialist will partner to recruit, retain, and recognize volunteers through formal and informal events, programs, and practices. The Specialist will manage a designated portfolio of active volunteers and is directly responsible for the selection and support process for designated departments. Volunteers are utilized at the following locations as needed: Methodist Hospital, Park Nicollet Specialty Centers, and Park Nicollet Clinic sites.

SCHEDULE: FTE 1.0, 40 hours per week, 8:00-4:30, M-F except holidays.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

  Two (2) years of experience working with volunteers, including recruitment, placement, scheduling, and engagement and/or experience coordinating office operations, records, and administrative workflows.
