HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE...

As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse and shipping operations by ensuring products are accurately received, moved, inventoried, and loaded for distribution. Operating a stand-up forklift, you will help maintain inventory accuracy, support customer deliveries, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food manufacturing standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO...
  • Load trucks accurately and efficiently according to load charts and shipping schedules.

  • Read and interpret load charts, Bills of Lading (BOL), and shipping documentation.

  • Complete required paperwork accurately and on time, including Bills of Lading, Sales Orders, and Pre-Load Inspection Forms.

  • Perform product consolidations and BIN transfers using material handling equipment.

  • Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.

  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete required equipment check sheets prior to operation.

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled inventory cycle counts.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse organization.

  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety guidelines, and PPE requirements.

  • Comply with USDA, FDA, and company regulations.

  • Support warehouse, inventory, and shipping operations as needed.

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by leadership.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE... (MUST HAVE)
  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of 6 months of material handling experience in a warehouse environment.

  • Stand-up forklift experience and ability to obtain or maintain forklift certification.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Ability to read and understand shipping documents, load charts, and Bills of Lading.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with inventory and documentation.

  • Ability to work safely while following company policies, GMPs, safety procedures, and food safety requirements.

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work throughout production and warehouse environments.

  • Ability to work flexible hours based on operational needs.

  • Ability to work in freezer environments for extended periods.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE... (NICE TO HAVE)

  • Previous inventory control experience.

  • Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems such as SAP.

  • Experience in food manufacturing, cold storage, or distribution environments.

  • Bilingual communication skills.

  • Additional experience with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.

Work Environment

  • Warehouse and production setting with regular exposure to freezer and cold storage environments.

  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.

  • Work performed in accordance with company safety standards, GMPs, PPE requirements, and food safety regulations.

  • Flexible scheduling may be required based on business and operational needs.

Compensation

Pay: $18.55/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
