Accurate coding is essential to the financial health of a healthcare organization and the integrity of the patient record. As a Coding Quality Specialist 2 supporting Radiology services, you will play a critical role in ensuring coding accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely reimbursement while helping support exceptional patient care across UVA Health. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for an experienced medical coding professional who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and applying advanced coding expertise in a highly specialized environment. You'll join a collaborative team focused on quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement while supporting a leading academic health system. The Role As a Coding Quality Specialist 2, you will apply your expertise in CPT and ICD-10 coding to review, analyze, and accurately code radiology services. Your work directly supports revenue cycle performance, compliance, and the integrity of clinical documentation. Working with moderate independence, you will evaluate medical records, interpret provider documentation, and ensure coding accuracy across a variety of radiology encounters.
