Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Compliance Job Description
The University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Business Intelligence & Data Analyst II to support the Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Compliance (OIEC). This position plays a key role in developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions, advancing data-informed decision-making, and supporting institutional reporting, compliance, and data governance initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Institutional Research and Data Analytics, the successful candidate will work closely with campus partners to transform complex data into meaningful insights through dashboards, reports, visualizations, and analytical tools that support strategic planning and operational excellence. Business Intelligence Development & Reporting (35%)
Data Modeling, Integration & Analytics (30%)
Stakeholder Consultation & Project Management (20%)
Data Governance, Quality & Collaboration (10%)
Training, Documentation & User Support (5%)
As with all positions, may perform other job-related responsibilities as needed to support departmental and campus-wide needs. Shift
Monday-Friday, 40+ hours per week Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired. Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
$75,000 - $90,000 commensurate with education and experience beyond minimum qualifications of the position Grade: GGS-012 Application Materials
