Announcement #: 26-04 POSITION OVERVIEW The case administrator also maintains the court's calendar; manages the scheduling of all court proceedings, including the presence of necessary case participants including court reporters and interpreters; receives and reviews incoming electronically filed documents and mail to determine conformity with established rules, practices and protocols. Judge Stadtmueller's case administrator is responsible for the assignment of civil and criminal cases to each of the judge's law clerks and maintains a perpetual case assignment inventory in spreadsheet form using Excel, all while serving as liaison between the clerk's office, attorneys, the public and the judge to ensure that each assigned case proceeds efficiently and smoothly. Performs such other administrative, operational, or technical support duties as may be assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Applicant must have two or more years of progressively responsible clerical or administrative experience requiring the regular and recurring application of clerical or administrative procedures, preferably in a court or legal setting. This experience must have included the demonstrated ability to apply a body of directives, laws, protocols and regulations which involve the routine use of automated software for word processing, data entry or report generation.
