Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, process specifications, and engineering drawings.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to use rulers and measuring tools accurately.
  • Must meet ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance requirements.


Experience Requirements



  • 0 to 4 years of assembly, manufacturing, production, or related experience.
  • Experience working with small parts, hand tools, and assembly equipment preferred.
  • Ability to perform quality inspections and accurately document production results.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and supervisors.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and process specifications.
  • Familiarity with lead cutting machines, assembly equipment, and manufacturing processes.
  • Previous experience in electronics assembly, precision manufacturing, or light industrial production environments.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work and maintain productivity while meeting quality standards.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand and work for up to 10-hour shifts.
  • Frequently handle small components measuring less than 1.5 inches in diameter.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to assemble precision parts accurately.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality and attention to detail.


Job Duties



  • Perform pre-assembly operations and prepare components for production.
  • Assemble products according to engineering drawings, process specifications, and work instructions.
  • Cut leads, remove wrapping tape, and complete detailed assembly tasks.
  • Set up, operate, and monitor lead cutting machines and related production equipment.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
  • Record production and inspection data accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Prioritize daily workload to meet production schedules and quality objectives.
