About the RoleThe Senior Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in delivering exceptional apartment living by maintaining the community, amenities, and residential units across Fairfield communities throughout the Atlanta, GA region. Travel throughout the region is supported by a monthly auto allowance. This position performs skilled maintenance and repair work, supports preventative maintenance programs, helps ensure regulatory compliance, and provides outstanding service to residents while contributing to the overall success of the community. What You'll DoBelow is a snapshot of what this role is all about. While there is more to it, this is the core focus. Maintenance and Repairs * Perform daily maintenance tasks and repairs. Property and Amenity Maintenance * Maintain pool, hot tub, and other amenities. Preventative Maintenance and Inspections * Schedule and document preventative maintenance and apartment turns. Supervision and Coordination * Supervise contractors and maintenance activities in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor. Safety, Inventory, and Resident Service * Assist with safety meetings and compliance with policies and regulations. We're all about creating communities that people are proud to call home. Education & Certifications * High school diploma or equivalent required Experience * Minimum of 2 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field. Skills & Competencies * Strong diagnostic and repair skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances Ready to make an impact? Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:
